In 1931, two young immigrant brothers, Joe and Philip Drago, armed with $2000 and a dream, established Drago Hardware, a retail business in Port Arthur, Texas. At a time when the country was experiencing the Great Depression and later on during World War II, the brothers grew their business by providing hardware, household products and services to their loyal customer base.

When the brothers separated in 1959, Joe joining another brother at a second location, Philip remained at the original location to pursue his vision of fulfilling the need for a “wholesale” hardware company to serve the industrial supply needs of the local oil and chemical industries. Drago Supply was born out of that vision.

Today, Drago Supply Company continues to serve the needs of industry in the south central United States, and has grown to eight locations in Texas, Arkansas, and Louisiana.
